Thanks to a post on blonde poker forum , i've managed to get qualified for the World Blogger championships on pokerstars , i played in this last year and must say i thought the prizes then were excellent for a free competition but this year has excelled itself. They've changed the structure to several qualifying tournaments in different disciplines of poker and makes it more of a test to qualify as last year u basically just had to have a blog up and running , with great prizes up for grabs i can't believe i'd never heard about it but luckily have qualified to have a go and despite missing the 1st tourney hopefully can get into the main final.
Last year the prizes were great fun , ipods , flat screen tvs etc but this year pokerstars have raised the bar and the top prizes include a $13k carribean package among other things , well worth a shot even if the qualifiers dont start till gone midnight i'm keen to get going , i'll keep this updated with progress.....
