No luck at all in the blogger and world record tournaments on Stars , no hands at all in the blogger and just lost patience waiting whilst the world record game i got aces once and picked up 75 chips and picked up a 530 pot with a royal flush (below) nothings really going my way lately but i'm certain itll pick up next year!!!
Weeeeeee!!! Qualified 1st go for the Blogger final and just hope for some decent cards because there are some great prizes in the final , i will play some of the other qualifiers including tonight's hi/lo which starts around 3 am my time :( and try to get free entry into a few big tourneys , but job done and i can aim for sundays final.....

i've managed to get qualified for the World Blogger championships on pokerstars , i played in this last year and must say i thought the prizes then were excellent for a free competition but this year has excelled itself. They've changed the structure to several qualifying tournaments in different disciplines of poker and makes it more of a test to qualify as last year u basically just had to have a blog up and running , with great prizes up for grabs i can't believe i'd never heard about it but luckily have qualified to have a go and despite missing the 1st tourney hopefully can get into the main final.
Last year the prizes were great fun , ipods , flat screen tvs etc but this year pokerstars have raised the bar and the top prizes include a $13k carribean package among other things , well worth a shot even if the qualifiers dont start till gone midnight i'm keen to get going , i'll keep this updated with progress.....
Just noticed in the Pokerstars lobby that they are going to try and break the world record for the largest field ever for an online poker tournament using the $10 200k gtd tourney i like to play, capped at 35,000 runners and with a guarantee of $500,000 leaving a potential of $150.000 overlay although i guess they will take off the restriction on runners once they have met their target and created the world record , i'll be playing it , it is on the 28th dec at 8 30 uk time and should be fun if a little like playing bingo ;)
Just finished 38th outta 23825 runners in the pokerstars 200k $10 comp and am feeling quite chuffed , it's been awhile :) had 1 decent bit of luck of note (see below) just couldnt fold aj to a blind steal and the guy had ak :( Gg wp all...... Fair flop ;)....
After a fair few ups n downs in the "real life department" i can happily carry on doing nothing or as i call it playing poker for a few pennies.....
